I would like to start a non for profit organization for needy children to donate toys and books.?

ive thought for some years to start an organization for children. being a mother and a nurse i see the way our economy has forgotten about our children and just not for the holidays do children want toys or books. Im lookin for advice were to begin.

You don’t need to start a nonprofit to do what you wish to do. In fact, many organizations, houses of worship, schools and other places already organize “toy drives’ and “book drives’ which they do as part of their charity work. I suggest you contact a local school, church or charity and see if they have volunteer opportunities for you to assist them in their efforts in this area.
